how should i go about insulating my garage?

Im only looking for a descent amount of relief. Very hot in the summer. The garage is just that, a garage. Some gym equipment, gardening tools, my little workshop in the corner and thats it. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Finishing/Closing an outdoor screen room?
