My wife and I just bought a house that has a very old two-car garage with the old style, carriage house doors, like a barn. The doors aren’t in great shape, and are not secure. I looked into the cost of replacing them with new doors and, yikes! it is >$1,000 for each set of doors. I would like to build new doors with locks, but don’t even know how to get started. Are there any resources around that I can consult to guide me through this very exciting project?
